Astoria is a port city in and the county seat of Clatsop County, Oregon, United States. The population was 10,181 at the 2020 census. Founded in 1811, Astoria is the oldest city in the state and was the first permanent American settlement west of the Rocky Mountains. It is located on the south shore of the Columbia River in the northwest corner of Oregon, near where the river flows into the Pacific Ocean.

Anne Ramsey-Mobley (March 27, 1929 – August 11, 1988) was an American actress. She was best known for her film roles as Mama Fratelli in The Goonies (1985) and as Mrs. Lift in Throw Momma from the Train (1987), the latter of which earned her nominations for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Additionally, Ramsey's respective turns in both aforementioned films earned her two Saturn Awards.

Robert David Grusin (born June 26, 1934) is an American composer, arranger, producer, jazz pianist, and band leader. He has composed many scores for feature films and television, and has won numerous awards for his soundtrack and record work, including an Academy Award and 10 Grammy Awards. Grusin was also a frequent collaborator with director Sydney Pollack, scoring many of his films like Three Days of the Condor (1975), Absence of Malice (1981), Tootsie (1982), The Firm (1993), and Random Hearts (1999). In 1978, Grusin founded GRP Records with Larry Rosen, and was an early pioneer of digital recording.

Josh James Brolin (; born February 12, 1968) is an American actor. A son of actor James Brolin, he gained fame in his youth for his role in the adventure film The Goonies (1985). Brolin had a resurgence with his starring role in the crime film No Country for Old Men (2007). Brolin received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for portraying Dan White in the biopic Milk (2008).

Ke Huy Quan ( KEE-hwee-KWAHN; Vietnamese: Quan Kế Huy; born 1970 or 1971), also known as Jonathan Ke Quan, is an American actor. His accolades include an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award, as well as a nomination for a BAFTA Award. Time magazine named Quan one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2023. Born in South Vietnam, Quan and his family were admitted to the United States as part of the Refugee Admissions Program.

Martha Plimpton is an American actress. She started her career as a teen actress in film before transitioning to adult roles on stage and screen. She has received several awards including a Primetime Emmy Award as well as nominations for three Tony Awards. Her feature-film debut was a supporting role in the political thriller Rollover (1981), and she rose to prominence in the adventure film The Goonies (1985). She later took roles in The Mosquito Coast (1986), Shy People (1987), Running on Empty (1988), Parenthood (1989), Samantha (1991), Beautiful Girls (1996), Small Town Murder Songs (2011), Frozen 2 (2019), and Mass (2021). She is a member of the Carradine family.

Corey Scott Feldman is an American actor, activist, and musician. As a youth, he became well known for his roles in popular 1980s films such as Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), Gremlins (1984), The Goonies (1985) and Stand by Me (1986). Feldman collaborated with Corey Haim starring in numerous films such as the comedy horror The Lost Boys (1987), the teen comedy License to Drive (1988) and the romantic comedy Dream a Little Dream (1989). They reunited for the A&E reality series The Two Coreys, which ran from 2007 to 2008.

The Goonies: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the official soundtrack album released by Epic Records in conjunction with the adventure comedy film The Goonies (1985). The album includes the top ten single "The Goonies 'R' Good Enough" by singer Cyndi Lauper, who had a cameo in the film. The album was released in LP and cassette format internationally, and a limited CD release in some countries.

The Goonies is a 1985 American adventure comedy film directed by Richard Donner from a screenplay by Chris Columbus based on a story by Steven Spielberg. In the film, a group of children who live in the "Goon Docks" neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon attempt to save their homes from foreclosure. In doing so, they discover an old treasure map which takes them on an adventure to unearth the long-lost fortune of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th-century pirate, while being pursued by a family of criminals who are after the treasure as well.

Kerri Green is an American actress best known for her roles in The Goonies (1985), Summer Rental (1985), and Lucas (1986). She co-wrote and directed the film Bellyfruit (1999).

Joseph Peter Pantoliano is an American actor who has played more than 150 roles across film, television, and theater. He won an Emmy for his portrayal of the sadistic gangster Ralph Cifaretto in HBO's The Sopranos. His film roles include Francis Fratelli in The Goonies (1985), Captain Conrad Howard in the Bad Boys film series (1995–2024), Cypher in the Wachowskis' sci-fi action film The Matrix (1999), and Teddy in Christopher Nolan's psychological thriller film Memento (2000).

Robert John Davi is an American actor, singer, and filmmaker. Over the course of his acting career, Davi has performed in more than 130 films. Among his most known roles are opera-singing Jake Fratelli in The Goonies (1985), FBI Special Agent Johnson in Die Hard (1988), James Bond villain Franz Sanchez in Licence to Kill (1989), police deputy chief Phil Heinemann in Predator 2 (1990) and strip club manager Al Torres in Showgirls (1995). On television, he portrayed FBI Special Agent Bailey Malone in the NBC television series Profiler (1996–2000).

Sean Patrick Astin (né Duke; born February 25, 1971) is an American actor and trade union leader who serves as the 4th national president of SAG-AFTRA. He began his career as a child actor, making his film debut as Mikey Walsh in The Goonies (1985), followed by significant roles as Billy Tepper in Toy Soldiers (1991), Dave Morgan in Encino Man (1992), Daniel Ruettiger in Rudy (1993), and Samwise Gamgee in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–2003). He is known to television audiences for portraying Lynn McGill on the fifth season of 24 (2006), the voice of Oso in Special Agent Oso (2009–2012), the voice of Raphael on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012–2017), and Bob Newby on the second season of Stranger Things (2017). Astin's acting awards include a Screen Actors Guild Award and two Young Artist Awards. He was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film in 1994 for the short film Kangaroo Court.
