John Williams

John Towner Williams (born February 8, 1932) is an American composer and conductor. Over his seven-decade career, he has composed many of the best known scores in film history. His compositional style blends romanticism, impressionism, and atonal music with complex orchestration. Best known for his collaborations with George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, he has received numerous accolades, including 27 Grammy Awards, five Academy Awards, seven BAFTA Awards, three Emmy Awards, and four Golden Globe Awards.

Ludwig Göransson

Ludwig Emil Tomas Göransson (; Swedish: [ˈlɵ̌dːvɪɡ ˈjœ̂ːranˌsɔn]; born 1 September 1984) is a Swedish musician, composer, and record producer. Based in the United States, he is often regarded as one of the most successful composers in Hollywood of the 21st century. For his work in music, film and television, he has received numerous accolades including three Academy Awards, two British Academy Film Awards, two Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, and six Grammy Awards. As a record producer, he has frequently collaborated with Childish Gambino, producing his studio albums Camp, Because the Internet and "Awaken, My Love!", among others.

Michael Giacchino

Michael Giacchino ( jə-KEE-noh; Italian: [dʒakˈkiːno]; born October 10, 1967) is an American film, television, and video game score composer. He has received numerous accolades for his work, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a BAFTA Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award, as well as three Grammy Awards. Giacchino is known for his collaborations with directors J. J. Abrams, Brad Bird, Matt Reeves, Pete Docter, Colin Trevorrow, Jon Watts, J. A. Bayona, The Wachowskis, Taika Waititi, and Thomas Bezucha. His film scores include several films from the Mission: Impossible, Jurassic World, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Star Trek franchises, eight Pixar Animation Studios films, multiple Disney films, Rogue One, The Batman, and several other films.

Kevin Kiner

Kevin Kiner is an American film and television composer best known for scoring Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Star Wars: Tales, and Star Wars: Ahsoka. Kiner was nominated for multiple Primetime Emmy, Daytime Emmy and Annie Awards for Clone Wars and Rebels, while winning several BMI Awards for his work on CSI: Miami, Narcos: Mexico, Making a Murderer, and Walker, Texas Ranger.

The Imperial March

"The Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme)" is a musical theme present in the Star Wars franchise. It was composed by John Williams for the film The Empire Strikes Back. Together with "Yoda's Theme", "The Imperial March" premiered on April 29, 1980, three weeks before the opening of the film, on the occasion of John Williams' first concert as official conductor-in-residence of the Boston Pops Orchestra. One of the best known symphonic movie themes, it is used as a leitmotif throughout the Star Wars franchise.

Star Wars (soundtrack)

Star Wars (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album to the 1977 film Star Wars, composed and conducted by John Williams and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. Williams' score for Star Wars was recorded over eight sessions at Anvil Studios in Denham, England on March 5, 8–12, 15 and 16, 1977. The score was orchestrated by Williams, Herbert W. Spencer, Alexander Courage, Angela Morley, Arthur Morton and Albert Woodbury. Spencer orchestrated the scores for The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. The score was recorded by engineer Eric Tomlinson and edited by Kenneth Wannberg, and the scoring sessions were produced by Star Wars director George Lucas and supervised by Lionel Newman, head of 20th Century Fox's music department.

Duel of the Fates

"Duel of the Fates" is a musical theme recurring in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and the Expanded Universe. It was composed by John Williams and recorded for the film soundtrack of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace by the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) and the London Voices. This symphonic piece is played with both a full orchestra and a choir. The lyrics are based on a fragment of an archaic Welsh poem, Cad Goddeu, and are sung in Sanskrit. The piece debuts during the final lightsaber duel in The Phantom Menace. With the music video for this theme, the LSO became the only classical group ever to have a video debut on MTV’s Total Request Live. "Duel of the Fates" lasted 11 days on the countdown.

Mos Eisley

Mos Eisley is a spaceport town in the fictional Star Wars universe. Located on the planet Tatooine, it first appeared in the 1977 film Star Wars, described by the character Obi-Wan Kenobi as a "wretched hive of scum and villainy".
