Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (film)

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a 2021 Japanese animated dark fantasy film. It is based on the 2017 manga Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which is itself a prologue to the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen, both manga having been written by Gege Akutami. It was directed by Sunghoo Park from a screenplay by Hiroshi Seko, and stars Megumi Ogata, Kana Hanazawa, Mikako Komatsu, Kōki Uchiyama, Tomokazu Seki, Yuichi Nakamura, and Takahiro Sakurai. The film follows Yuta Okkotsu, a young student who becomes a sorcerer and seeks to control the Cursed Spirit of his childhood friend Rika Orimoto in Jujutsu High, alongside other skilled sorcerers in training.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 1

The first season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime television series is based on the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami. An animated adaptation of the manga was announced in the 52nd issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump, which was published in November 2019. The story focuses on high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, to whom Yuji becomes the host.

MAPPA Co., Ltd. is a Japanese animation studio headquartered in Nakano, Tokyo. Founded in 2011 at Suginami, Tokyo by Madhouse co-founder and producer Masao Maruyama, it has produced anime television series including Terror in Resonance, Yuri!!! on Ice, Kakegurui, Banana Fish, Zombie Land Saga, Dororo, Dorohedoro, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, Vinland Saga, Chainsaw Man, Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku, and Ranma ½ (2024). MAPPA is an acronym for Maruyama Animation Produce Project Association.

Jujutsu Kaisen (TV series)

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese anime television series produced by MAPPA, based on the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami. The story focuses on high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers to eliminate a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host. The series broadcasts on MBS, TBS and their JNN affiliates in Japan. Crunchyroll licensed the series for worldwide streaming outside of Asia and launched an English dub in November 2020. The anime's original soundtrack was released in April 2021.
