Ye ( YAY; stylized in all lowercase) is the eighth studio album by the American rapper Kanye West. It was released on June 1, 2018, by GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings. West began working on it in 2017, but restarted it after a controversial interview with TMZ in May 2018, completing it over a period of two weeks. Guest appearances include Ty Dolla Sign, Kid Cudi, 070 Shake, Charlie Wilson, Jeremih, PartyNextDoor, and Nicki Minaj.
