The Director's Cut

The Director's Cut is the second studio album by American experimental metal supergroup Fantômas. The album is a collection of cover versions of themes from horror films and television series, performed in a variety of different musical styles. It was released on July 9, 2001, through Ipecac Recordings, a record label co-owned by vocalist Mike Patton. The Director's Cut has been praised by critics, with reviewers highlighting the album's versatility and unusual content; Patton in particular has been singled out for his performances.
