Teplice

Teplice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈtɛplɪtsɛ] , until 1948 Teplice-Šanov; German: Teplitz, Teplitz-Schönau) is a city in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 51,000 inhabitants. It is the most populous Czech spa town, followed by Karlovy Vary. Teplice was first documented in 1154, when the oldest Czech spa was founded.
