Status Quo (band)

Status Quo are a British rock band formed in London in 1962. Beginning with "Pictures of Matchstick Men" in 1968, they have had over 60 chart hits in the UK – more than any other band – with further hits including "Caroline", "Down Down", "Rain", "Rockin' All Over the World", "Whatever You Want" and "What You're Proposing". 22 of these reached the Top 10 in the UK singles chart, and 57 reached the Top 40. They have released over 100 singles and 33 studio albums.
