Sandi Thom

Alexandria Thom () (born 11 August 1981) is a Scottish singer-songwriter and instrumentalist who became widely known in 2006 for her debut single, "I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers in My Hair)". The single finished the year as the best selling single in Australia, and the 5th best selling single of 2006 in the United Kingdom. Her debut album, Smile... It Confuses People (2006), also achieved considerable commercial success, reaching number one in her native Scotland, the United Kingdom and Ireland, and was certified Platinum in the United Kingdom, whilst achieving Gold status in both Australia and New Zealand, and a Silver certification in France.
