Ray Drummond

Ray Drummond (November 23, 1946 – November 1, 2025) was an American jazz bassist and teacher. He also had an MBA from Stanford University, hence his linkage to the Stanford Jazz Workshop. He can be heard on hundreds of albums and co-leads The Drummonds with Renee Rosnes and (not related) Billy Drummond. Drummond was a resident of Teaneck, New Jersey, since 1980 with his wife, Susan, and his daughter, Maya.
