The chart was created in January 2009, with Katy Perry's "Hot n Cold" as the first song to reach the No. 1 position. Three songs by English singer-songwriter Adele peaked at the top of the charts in Mexico and the United States, "Someone like You", "Set Fire to the Rain", and "Hello".
