"Just Dance" is the debut single by the American singer Lady Gaga. It was released on April 8, 2008, as the lead single from Gaga's debut studio album, The Fame (2008), through Streamline Records, KonLive, Cherrytree Records, and Interscope Records. The song features additional vocals from fellow American singer Colby O'Donis, and was written in 2008 by Gaga herself, alongside its producer RedOne and American singer Akon. It was also recorded at Record Plant Studios, based in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
