As iamjakehill, his music blends rap, alternative rock, and metal, while his other projects explore genres such as pop-punk. In 2023, Hill gained attention for his country music alter-ego, Dixon Dallas. The project's songs, such as "Good Lookin'" and "F-150", went viral on TikTok for their explicit, queer-themed lyrics.
