Here Come the Waves
Here Come the Waves is a 1944 American romantic comedy musical film directed by Mark Sandrich. It stars Bing Crosby, Betty Hutton, in dual roles as "The Allison Twins" and Sonny Tufts and featuring Ann Doran, Gwen Crawford, Noel Neill, Catherine Craig & Anabel Shaw (credited as Marjorie Henshaw). At the 18th Academy Awards, the film managed a single nomination for Best Music (Song) for the song Accentuate the Positive written by the legendary Harold Arlen (Music) and Johnny Mercer (Lyrics), with the award going to the equally legendary Rodgers and Hammerstein for It Might As Well Be Spring from State Fair.
