Geno Smith

Eugene Cyril "Geno" Smith III is an American professional football quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the West Virginia Mountaineers, receiving first-team All-Big East honors in 2011. Smith was selected by the New York Jets in the second round of the 2013 NFL draft. He spent his first two seasons as the Jets' starter, but inconsistent play and injuries led to him being benched before he was released in 2016. Smith played his next two season as a backup with the New York Giants and Los Angeles Chargers.
