"Daddy" is a song recorded by American singer Beyoncé for her debut studio album, Dangerously in Love (2003). It was written and produced by Beyoncé herself, alongside Mark Batson. The song was not originally intended to be featured on the final track listing of the album. Beyoncé was able to record the song at South Beach Studios, based in Miami, Florida, as the release date of her debut album had been postponed.
