Claudette Colbert (koʊlˈbɛər/ kohl-BAIR, September 13, 1903, Saint-Mandé, France – July 30, 1996, Speightstown, Barbados), also known as Lily Claudette Chauchoin (ʃoʃwɛ̃/ show-shwan); was a French-American stage and film actress.
