1967 in film
The year 1967 in film involved some significant events. It was the year in which Charlie Chaplin made his last film, A Countess from Hong Kong, which he wrote, directed and produced, and in which he played a cameo role; it was the only one of his films to be made in colour. He also wrote the score, including an instrumental version of "This Is My Song", a major hit worldwide. The Walt Disney Studios released The Jungle Book, the final animated feature film to be produced by Walt Disney himself, who died before it reached cinemas.
